Robert Beshai
Veterinarian/Medical Director
Dr. Robert Beshai has a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine and a deep-rooted connection to Southern California. A Huntington Beach native, he began his veterinary journey at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies. Despite the challenges—including enduring Hurricane Ivan in 2004—he completed his clinical training at North Carolina State University and earned his veterinary degree in 2007.
After several years of dedicated work as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Beshai took over Warner Avenue Animal Hospital in 2014 from his friend and mentor, Dr. Tom Scherer. Since then, he has continued to grow the practice with a strong commitment to advanced medical care and community trust.
Dr. Beshai is highly skilled in veterinary surgery, with a particular interest in advanced and minimally invasive procedures. He remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of veterinary advancements, combining modern surgical techniques with the personalized care of a neighborhood family vet. His clinical approach is rooted in honesty, precision, and compassion.
A proud member of the California and Southern California Veterinary Medical Associations (CVMA & SCVMA), Dr. Beshai is continually expanding his knowledge to better serve his patients.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with his wife, their three children, and their loyal pudelpointer, Duke.
